Member of Parliament Bidhuṛi visited Sajjan Kumar’s house in Amritsar and offered an on‑spot apology.
Earlier this week, MP Bidhuṛi travelled to Amritsar and entered the residence of local figure Sajjan Kumar. The visit was marked by an immediate apology offered by the parliamentarian on the spot.
The MP’s gesture was made publicly at the doorstep, signalling a direct attempt to resolve any lingering tension between the two parties. No further details about the cause of the apology were disclosed at the time.
Local observers noted the incident as a rare instance of a sitting legislator personally seeking reconciliation in a private setting, underscoring the importance of direct accountability in public life.
