From September 17, Indore will register property records free of charge for 30,000 eligible owners under a state‑wide ownership plan.
The Madhya Pradesh government has initiated a new registration drive in Indore, allowing 30,000 property owners to obtain legal title documents without any fee. The scheme, part of a broader state ownership plan, began on September 17 and aims to streamline the creation of official land records.
Beneficiaries will submit their ownership details at designated registration centres, where officials will process the documents at no cost. The free registration covers the preparation of the right‑of‑title records, which serve as the legal proof of land ownership.
