The Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, together with the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, examined the rollout of the CSS scheme and the status of ongoing development works across the Union Territory.

Srinagar – The Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, accompanied by the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, convened a high‑level review to assess the implementation of the Centralized Service Scheme (CSS) across the Union Territory. The officials examined the progress of key infrastructure and welfare projects that were launched under recent state and central initiatives.

During the meeting, the team highlighted milestones achieved in road construction, health‑care facility upgrades, and educational institution enhancements. They also identified bottlenecks such as delayed fund releases and logistical challenges in remote districts, urging swift corrective action.

The review concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at accelerating project timelines and ensuring that the CSS framework reaches intended beneficiaries without further delay. Follow‑up monitoring mechanisms were agreed upon to track implementation over the coming months.
