Traffic Stalls on Delhi Streets Ahead of Dhanteras Eve

Delhi saw a noticeable slowdown in vehicular movement on the evening preceding Dhanteras, as people flocked to markets and temples to mark the auspicious occasion. Traffic police were deployed at key intersections to manage the flow and ensure safety, urging drivers to exercise caution. The festive atmosphere contributed to the congestion, with many motorists opting to park and walk to nearby shops. Authorities reminded commuters that the holiday period often brings increased footfall and advised planning alternate routes where possible. The situation remained under control, with no major incidents reported during the evening hours.
