Priyank Kharge urges RSS to approve Vijayadashami processions on Oct 25

Congress leader Priyank Kharge told representatives of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh that the upcoming Vijayadashami processions, slated for October 25, require a formal nod from the organization. He emphasized that clear approval would help coordinate security arrangements and ensure smooth conduct of the religious celebrations across the country. Kharge highlighted the importance of the festival for millions of devotees and urged the RSS to cooperate with local authorities. The request comes ahead of a series of planned marches in several states, where organizers seek to avoid any administrative or law‑and‑order hiccups. No official response from the RSS has been reported yet.
