A pregnant woman and her unborn child have died in Jabalpur after a lack of timely medical access due to severely damaged roads prevented an ambulance from reaching her. She had to be carried for nearly a kilometer during labor.

A tragic incident has been reported from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, where a pregnant woman and her unborn child lost their lives due to a lack of timely medical assistance. The severe condition of the local roads reportedly prevented an ambulance from reaching the woman.

Sources indicate that the woman was experiencing labor pains. Due to the inaccessibility caused by the dilapidated road, she had to be transported for approximately one kilometer on foot. This arduous journey exacerbated her condition.

The delay in reaching medical facilities proved fatal for both the mother and the fetus, highlighting critical infrastructure issues impacting essential services in the region.
