Police seize 8,303 litres of adulterated ghee in raid on Shri Kisan Dairy, Falna, Pali

A joint raid by Rajasthan police and the food safety department at Shri Kisan Dairy and Food Pvt Ltd in Falna, Pali, resulted in the seizure of 8,303 litres of suspected adulterated ghee, and the factory owner was taken into custody.
Police officials from the Crime Branch and officials of the Food Safety Department carried out a coordinated raid on the premises of Shri Kisan Dairy and Food Pvt Ltd, located in the Jadri Reeko area of Falna in Pali district, Rajasthan, on the eve of Diwali.
During the operation, the teams seized 8,303 litres of ghee that laboratory tests indicated had been mixed with chemical substances, violating food safety norms.
The factory’s proprietor was arrested and placed in custody pending further investigation. Authorities said the seizure underscores a crackdown on adulteration ahead of the festive season.
The incident has prompted the state food safety authority to warn other dairy producers about strict compliance, and a detailed report is expected to be filed with the court.
