A head‑on collision between a Swift car and a heavily loaded dump truck on the Mithri bypass in Navan, Deedwana, Rajasthan, killed four people, including health worker ANM Tulsi Devi, her husband, daughter and the driver.

A severe road accident occurred early Wednesday on the Mithri bypass in the Navan area of Deedwana, Rajasthan. A Swift car traveling in one direction met a heavily laden dump truck coming from the opposite lane, resulting in a head‑on collision.

The crash claimed the lives of four individuals: ANM Tulsi Devi of the health department, her husband Lakshman Singh, their daughter Sheetal, and the car driver Ramakishan. All victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Local police and emergency services arrived promptly, securing the site and initiating an investigation into the cause of the collision. The bypass was temporarily closed to traffic while authorities cleared the wreckage and conducted preliminary inquiries.

Officials have not released further details about the condition of any survivors or the extent of injuries to other road users. The incident underscores the hazards of mixed traffic on rural bypasses, especially when heavy vehicles navigate narrow lanes.

The investigation will focus on factors such as vehicle speed, road conditions, and compliance with traffic regulations, with a final report expected in the coming days.
