Patna will host a special cultural concert titled ‘Bhavanjali’ at Bapu Tower during Durga Puja, featuring Kathak, classical singing, bhajans, ghazals and shehnai.
Patna’s iconic Bapu Tower is set to become a stage for a unique Durga Puja celebration this year. Organisers have planned a cultural programme called “Bhavanjali”, which will showcase a blend of classical and devotional arts. The lineup includes Kathak dance performances, classical vocal renditions, bhajans, ghazals and shehnai music, aimed at creating a vibrant atmosphere for festival‑goers.
The event is scheduled to run during the main days of Durga Puja, aligning with the city’s broader festivities. While exact timings have not been disclosed, officials have confirmed that the program will be open to the public, allowing residents and visitors to experience traditional art forms in a modern setting.
State Chief Minister Samrat Yadav is expected to inaugurate the concert, though the precise date and time of his appearance remain to be announced. The initiative reflects the administration’s effort to promote cultural heritage alongside religious celebrations in Bihar’s capital.
