The Indian National Congress has stepped up its attack on the central government and the Election Commission, alleging partiality in the handling of the SIR matter.
New Delhi – The Indian National Congress announced on Monday that it is intensifying its criticism of the Union government and the Election Commission of India over the SIR issue. Party officials said the centre and the EC have failed to ensure a transparent and impartial process, calling the current handling "biased" and "against democratic norms".
