AIIMS Bhopal has introduced a QR‑code based digital service that provides comprehensive dietary information to expectant mothers and mothers of newborns.
AIIMS Bhopal rolled out a new digital nutrition assistance programme aimed at pregnant women and mothers of newborn infants. The service uses QR codes displayed at the hospital’s maternal‑health centres.
When a user scans the code with a smartphone, a detailed guide on recommended foods, portion sizes and nutritional tips is displayed instantly, eliminating the need for printed pamphlets.
Hospital officials said the initiative is intended to improve maternal and child health outcomes by providing easy, reliable information directly at the point of care.
The QR‑code system will be integrated into routine antenatal and postnatal visits, allowing healthcare providers to refer patients to the digital guide during consultations.
