The Special Task Force in Madhya Pradesh has revoked 31 passports that were obtained by Bangladeshi nationals using forged Indian identities, including 17 issued in Dabra.

Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh – A Special Task Force (STF) operation has led to the cancellation of 31 passports that were fraudulently obtained by Bangladeshi citizens who presented counterfeit Indian identity documents. Seventeen of the invalid passports were traced back to the town of Dabra, while the remaining were issued from other locations within the state.

The investigation, which began after intelligence inputs flagged a network facilitating illegal passport issuance, has so far identified more than 100 individuals suspected of involvement. Authorities have opened 70 separate cases, linking the suspects to document forgery, identity theft, and illegal migration facilitation.

State officials said the crackdown aims to curb the misuse of Indian travel documents and protect national security. The STF has warned that further actions, including arrests and prosecutions, will follow as the probe progresses, and urged the public to report any similar irregularities.
