West Central Railway will introduce three special trains from October 12 to ease travel during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath, connecting Bhopal with Danapur, Rewa and Dr. Ambedkar Nagar.
West Central Railway announced the launch of three special trains to cater to the surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming festive season. The services, slated to commence on 12 October, will link Bhopal with key destinations in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, providing a dedicated option for travelers observing Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath.\nThe first of these, the Rani Kamalapati‑Danapur Express, will run daily between Bhopal's Rani Kamalapati station and Danapur in Bihar. In addition, two extra services will operate on the Rewa‑Rani Kamalapati and Rewa‑Dr. Ambedkar Nagar routes, expanding connectivity for passengers from the central region.\nRailway officials said the special trains are intended to de‑congest regular services and offer comfortable, timely travel for holiday‑goers. Tickets will be made available through the standard reservation channels, and the schedule will include strategic halts at major stations to serve a broad passenger base.\nThe initiative reflects the railway zone's commitment to supporting cultural festivities and easing mobility across state borders during peak travel periods.
