Indian Railways has introduced a weekly special service linking Mumbai’s Bandra Terminus with Gorakhpur, with scheduled stops including Ratlam.
Indian Railways announced the commencement of a weekly special train that will run from Bandra Terminus in Mumbai to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. The service is aimed at easing travel for passengers on this long‑distance corridor and is scheduled to operate once a week.
The train will traverse key junctions across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, with Ratlam being one of the prominent halts in Madhya Pradesh. It will also stop at several intermediate stations en route, providing additional connectivity for travelers from smaller towns.
Railway officials expect the new service to relieve pressure on existing trains and offer a convenient option for commuters, pilgrims and tourists traveling between the western and northern regions of the country. The timetable and fare structure have been released on the official railway portal.
