Minister Vishnu Deo Sai detailed a comprehensive plan aimed at accelerating infrastructure, agriculture and industrial growth across Chhattisgarh.
During a press briefing in Raipur, senior minister Vishnu Deo Sai laid out a multi‑year development roadmap for Chhattisgarh. The outline covered priority sectors such as transport corridors, rural electrification, irrigation upgrades and the establishment of new industrial parks.
The plan emphasizes strengthening agricultural value chains, promoting agro‑processing units, and expanding skill‑training centres to boost employment for youth. Digital infrastructure and e‑governance initiatives are also slated to improve service delivery in remote districts.
State officials said the roadmap will be implemented in phased stages, with the first tranche targeting completion of key road and bridge projects within the next 18 months. Funding is expected to combine state resources, central assistance and private‑sector participation, aiming to raise Chhattisgarh’s per‑capita income and reduce regional disparities.
