Uttar Pradesh Textile Exports Surge 10% to ₹35,000 Crore in FY26

Uttar Pradesh recorded a 10% rise in its textile and apparel exports during the fiscal year 2026, reaching a total value of ₹35,000 crore, Business Standard reported.\n\nThe growth reflects a steady increase in demand for the state's cotton and synthetic fabrics, as well as a boost in export orders from key international markets such as the United States, Europe and the Middle East.\n\nIndustry analysts say the uptick is supported by improved production capacity at UP's textile clusters and better logistics connectivity, which have helped reduce turnaround times for exporters.\n\nThe state government has announced further incentives for textile exporters, including tax rebates and streamlined customs procedures, to sustain the upward trend.
