The Uttar Pradesh Anti‑Terrorism Squad (ATS) announced on Tuesday that it has taken into custody a 19‑year‑old individual in Tamil Nadu on suspicion of being part of an Al Qaeda‑linked terror conspiracy. Investigators said the youth was identified through intelligence inputs that pointed to a network attempting to coordinate extremist activities with ties to the Al Qaeda organization.
