Police in Gaya have arrested two additional suspects in the murder case of a sub‑Inspector’s son, bringing the total number of accused to five.
Police in Gaya announced on Tuesday that two more individuals have been taken into custody in the murder case involving the son of a local sub‑Inspector. The arrests were made at the Gaya Police Station after a thorough investigation that began earlier this year.
The new suspects, whose identities are not yet disclosed, are believed to have been involved in the planning and execution of the crime. Their detention follows the earlier arrest of three other accused persons, who were charged with conspiracy and participation in the killing.
According to a police statement, the investigation is still ongoing and authorities are gathering further evidence to establish the full extent of the conspiracy. The case has drawn significant media attention, given the victim’s status as the son of a serving police officer.
The police have urged the public to come forward with any information that could aid the probe. No further details about the motive or the circumstances of the murder have been released at this time.
