A Narkasur skeleton has collapsed onto the Tonca Caranzalem road, halting traffic and prompting local authorities to clear the obstruction.
The Tonca Caranzalem road in Goa was unexpectedly obstructed when a Narkasur skeleton fell onto the carriageway, bringing vehicular movement to a standstill. Residents and commuters reported the blockage to local authorities, who dispatched teams to assess the situation.
Preliminary observations indicated that the skeletal remains lay across the lane, making it unsafe for vehicles to pass. Traffic was temporarily diverted to nearby alternate routes while officials coordinated the removal of the obstruction.
Cleanup crews arrived on site and began the process of clearing the skeleton, aiming to restore normal traffic flow as quickly as possible. Motorists were advised to exercise caution and follow detour signs until the road is fully reopened.
The incident highlights the occasional challenges faced by road users in the region due to unexpected natural debris. No injuries were reported, and the road is expected to be reopened once the removal work is completed.
