Tennessee Driver Turns $3,200 School Bus into Noah's Ark, Saves 64 Animals from Hurricane

A Tennessee truck driver spent several hours converting a $3,200 school bus into a temporary shelter for animals during a recent hurricane. The driver secured the bus’s interior, added temporary partitions, and stocked it with food and water for the animals. When the storm hit, he loaded 64 animals—ranging from dogs and cats to small mammals—into the bus and drove them to safety. After the storm passed, the driver donated the bus to a local animal shelter, which plans to use it for future rescue efforts.
