Rajasthan police have arrested Balotra resident Shravana Kumar Vishnoi for allegedly purchasing the 2022 school lecturer (economics) recruitment exam paper for ₹7 lakh.
Rajasthan's Special Operations Group (SOG) detained Shravana Kumar Vishnoi, a teacher from Balotra, in connection with the 2022 school lecturer recruitment paper leak. According to the police, Vishnoi is alleged to have bought the economics exam paper for a sum of seven lakh rupees and facilitated its distribution among candidates.
The investigation, which began after irregularities were reported in the recruitment process, led authorities to trace the transaction and identify Vishnoi as a key suspect. He was taken into custody in Balotra, and the seized documents are being examined for further links to the leak network.
Officials have not disclosed whether any other individuals were involved or if any candidates have been identified as beneficiaries of the leaked paper. The case underscores ongoing concerns about the integrity of competitive examinations in the state.
