Stray Kids Follow BTS’s Lead, Skip 2027 Grammys

South Korean boy band Stray Kids confirmed that they will skip the 2027 Grammy Awards and will not submit any of their forthcoming releases for consideration. The announcement was made via the group’s official social media channels and came shortly after BTS announced a similar boycott of the ceremony. The decision is part of a broader trend among K‑pop acts that have expressed concerns over the Grammys’ voting process and representation. Stray Kids’ management stated that the band will focus on domestic and regional promotions instead. The move is expected to affect the group’s visibility in the Western awards circuit for the year.
