Six Goa Colleges Launch Month‑Long Butterfly Monitoring Programme

Six higher‑education institutions in Goa have entered a month‑long butterfly monitoring initiative that will run across their campuses. The program tasks students and faculty with observing, identifying and recording butterfly species to build a baseline of local biodiversity. Data collected will be shared with environmental researchers to support conservation planning in the region.
