Rahul Dravid's former coach, Shastri, has raised concerns regarding the selection committee's decision to exclude fast bowler Mohammed Shami from recent squads.
Former Indian cricket coach Shastri has publicly questioned the selectors for their decision to overlook fast bowler Mohammed Shami. The move has sparked debate within the cricketing community regarding the criteria used for squad selection.
Shastri expressed his views on the omission, suggesting that Shami's experience and recent form warranted consideration. The fast bowler has been a key asset for the national team in various formats, and his exclusion from the current setup has drawn attention.
While the selection committee has not issued a detailed statement addressing this specific query, such discussions are common in Indian cricket when high-profile players are left out. The focus now remains on the upcoming matches and the performance of the chosen squad.
