Tamil Nadu clinched an innings victory over Mumbai in a domestic cricket encounter, with Sai Kishore emerging as the match-winner. Kishore's disciplined bowling spell broke through Mumbai's batting line‑up, triggering a collapse that left the visitors well short of the target. His contributions with the ball were complemented by crucial runs lower down the order, ensuring the home side maintained a comfortable lead throughout the innings.
The win underscores Tamil Nadu's growing depth in both pace and spin departments, as the team capitalised on early breakthroughs to dominate the game. Mumbai, despite a solid start, could not recover from the early setbacks and were bowled out without forcing the follow‑on.
Team officials praised Kishore's composure under pressure, noting that his performance could be pivotal in the upcoming stages of the tournament. The victory also boosts Tamil Nadu's standing in the league, positioning them as strong contenders for the title.
