At a gathering in Indore, RSS leaders told volunteers that future growth will prioritize outreach into communities rather than merely increasing branch numbers.
RSS senior functionaries convened a cadre of volunteers in Indore to outline the organization’s long‑term growth plan. The gathering, reported by Amar Ujala, highlighted a strategic shift away from simply adding more shakhas (branches).
The speakers emphasized that the next phase will focus on deepening the RSS’s presence within various social groups, aiming to embed its ideology at the grassroots level. Volunteers were instructed to prioritize community engagement, cultural programs, and local outreach over the quantitative expansion of units.
Officials indicated that this approach is intended to strengthen the organization’s influence across diverse sections of society, ensuring that its values resonate beyond the confines of formal branches. The message reflects a broader vision to weave the RSS’s network into the everyday fabric of Indian communities.
Analysts note that such a pivot could enhance the RSS’s ability to mobilize support on social issues while maintaining its traditional organizational structure. The move underscores the group’s intent to remain a pivotal force in shaping public discourse across the nation.
