A retiring Madhya Pradesh High Court judge has pledged his body to a medical college for education and contributed ₹1.01 crore from his General Provident Fund to the PM CARES fund.

The retiring judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court announced that he will donate his body to a medical college to support anatomical education and research. He said the contribution will help train future doctors and improve hands‑on learning in the state. In addition, the judge has earmarked ₹1.01 crore from his General Provident Fund (GPF) for the PM CARES fund, a charitable scheme set up for disaster relief and public welfare. The dual pledge was made during his retirement ceremony, reflecting a personal commitment to both health education and national service. Authorities of the medical college welcomed the gesture, noting that such donations are valuable for enhancing practical training for students.
