Bidar: Angarika Sankashti Chaturthi Celebrated at Rejintal Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Temple
Bidar: The Angarika Sankashti Chaturthi was observed with great devotion on September 29 at the famous Sri Swayambhu Siddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple in Rejintal village, Telangana. Thousands of devotees from Karnataka, Telangana, and Maharashtra gathered to seek darshan of Lord Siddhi Vinayaka, the remover of obstacles, and were spiritually rejuvenated. Devotees began arriving from midnight Monday, with a continuous flow of visitors extending until late Tuesday night. Early morning rituals included special abhishekam, decoration, and maha mangalarati.
Ashok Rejintal, President of the Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Trust, stated that the temple houses a self-manifested idol of Sri Siddhi Vinayaka, which is deeply revered by devotees. Around one lakh devotees were expected to visit during this auspicious event. Facilities such as prasadam distribution including puliyogare, shabadaani payasa, huggi, rice, and sambar were arranged throughout the day. To ensure devotees' comfort, tents, sheds, drinking water, restrooms, and accommodation were provided. The temple's unique feature includes the south-facing self-manifested Ganapati idol, believed by locals to grow year by year, enhancing the temple's sanctity.
Special poojas and religious programs marked the Angarika Sankashti Chaturthi. Trust dignitaries including Honorary President Alladi Veeresham,
renowned Hindustani musician Ramlu Gadagi, trustees Digambar Phoola, Alladi Narasimhulu, N.R. Rajeshwar, Kalva Rajeshwar, Ravi Kobaji, and temple priests were present during the celebrations.
