Former Indian fast bowler Ramesh Powar has been named a member of the national cricket selection panel, a move that follows the board’s initiative to bring experienced ex-players into key decision‑making roles.
Powar will work alongside the existing selectors and will be responsible for assessing talent across domestic competitions, with particular emphasis on fast bowlers and all‑rounders. His experience is expected to help shape the team’s strategy for upcoming tours.
