The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will develop an AI-driven online question bank, slated for rollout in the 2027-28 academic session to curb question repetition and cut costs.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education announced plans to create an artificial‑intelligence based online question bank for its examinations. The digital repository will generate varied question sets, aiming to eliminate the recurring use of identical items in successive papers.
By automating question creation, the board expects to streamline the exam‑setting process, reduce dependence on external subject‑matter experts, and lower associated expenses. Officials said the system will also help maintain a more balanced assessment across schools.
Implementation is targeted for the 2027-28 academic session. In the coming years, the board will conduct pilot trials, train its staff on the new platform, and integrate the tool with existing digital infrastructure.
The initiative aligns with broader efforts across Indian education boards to adopt technology for improving assessment quality and efficiency.
