Rain and hailstorm push night temperatures below 20°C in ten Rajasthan cities

A widespread rain and hailstorm moved across Rajasthan, bringing unusually cool nights to the state. The India Meteorological Department recorded minimum temperatures falling below the 20°C mark in ten different cities, a notable dip for the region during this season. The drop in temperature was observed after the storm passed, with night-time readings consistently lower than the typical range for this time of year. Residents in the affected areas reported a marked chill, prompting many to use heating appliances earlier than usual. Authorities have advised the public to stay warm and monitor weather updates as the system moves out of the state.
