Rain and hailstorm hit parts of Jammu & Kashmir

Rain showers accompanied by hailstones moved across several districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, according to the Daily Excelsior report. The meteorological department has been monitoring the system and issued advisories for the affected areas. Residents in the impacted zones reported sudden drops in temperature and brief periods of intense hail.
Local authorities have been alerted and are coordinating with disaster response teams to assess any damage to property or infrastructure. Preliminary observations suggest that the hailstorm caused minor disruptions, but no major injuries have been reported so far.
The weather pattern is expected to subside by the evening, with officials urging people to stay cautious and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.
