Rahul Gandhi's Balaghat rally marred by absence of collector, SP, says local patwari

Rahul Gandhi arrived in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, as part of his campaign tour, addressing a gathering of local supporters. The schedule included a meeting with district officials, but the district collector and the senior superintendent of police failed to appear despite prior coordination with the chief secretary. Local patwari Jeetu Patwari publicly expressed his frustration, stating that the officials ignored his communications and that the Congress will lodge a complaint with the President. The episode highlights the growing tension between the opposition and the state administration ahead of upcoming elections. As of now, neither the collector's office nor the police department has issued a comment.
