Congress MP Rahul Gandhi condemned the Madhya Pradesh government in Indore, accusing it of neglecting health and education and highlighting the tragic deaths of over 30 tribal children in Balaghat.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi arrived in Indore on a campaign visit and used the platform to launch a scathing attack on the Madhya Pradesh government. He accused the state administration of allowing the health and education sectors to deteriorate to a point where basic services are no longer reliable.
Gandhi cited the recent tragedy in Balaghat, where more than 30 tribal children died, as evidence of the government's indifference and lack of accountability. He demanded immediate action to investigate the causes and to ensure such incidents never recur.
The MP called for a comprehensive review of the state’s public health infrastructure and school systems, urging the central government to intervene if necessary. He also urged citizens to provide feedback on the failures he highlighted.
While the opposition welcomed the criticism, state officials have yet to respond publicly, leaving the issue unresolved as the campaign continues.
