The IPL franchise Punjab Kings said it will revamp its coaching lineup following a disappointing 2026 season.
Punjab Kings, one of the ten franchises in the Indian Premier League, released a statement confirming that it will restructure its coaching staff after a season that left the side near the bottom of the standings.
The franchise said the overhaul is intended to address the shortcomings that contributed to the team's under‑performance and to build a more competitive unit for the next edition of the league.
While no specific names of incoming or departing coaches were disclosed, the club indicated that appointments will be made after a comprehensive review, with an emphasis on strategy, player development and on‑field results.
The decision mirrors a broader trend among IPL teams, many of which are reassessing their technical benches ahead of the upcoming tournament.
