Teacher candidates in West Bengal are demanding that the state government start recruiting primary teachers without delay.
A group of primary teacher aspirants in West Bengal has publicly urged the state government to commence recruitment for vacant primary teaching posts immediately. The candidates, who have cleared the requisite examinations, say the prolonged delay is affecting their career prospects.
The aspirants contend that the existing backlog of vacancies hampers the quality of primary education and leaves many schools understaffed. They have appealed to the education department to expedite the selection and appointment process, emphasizing the urgency of filling the positions.
As of now, the education ministry has not released a definitive timeline for the recruitment drive, and the aspirants continue to press for swift action to address the staffing shortfall.
