Thirunavaya:
The Ashtamangala Prashant, as part of the preparations for the 2027 Thirunavaya Mahamagha Mahotsavam, has begun. The 'Makaram Rasi' sign appeared in the Prashant, which began with placing gold on the Ashtamangala land near the Navamukunda temple. Vedic sages clarified that this is a sign of God's blessing that the Mahamagha Mahotsavam will be successfully completed despite all obstacles.
The Ashtamangala Prashant ceremonies began at 9 am. The function was presided over by Swami Santosh Anand Devji Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar, Haridwar Bada Udasin Akhara, Swami Hanumadpadananda Saraswati, the head of the Anjaneyashram, Shri Ramadasa Mission, Wandoor Cherukod, Swami Hanumadpadananda Saraswati, the secretary of the Margada Mandal, Kerala, Swami Sat Swaroopananda Saraswati, Swami Atmaswaroopananda, Swami Mandaleshwar Prabhakarananda Saraswati, and Dandi Swami Sadhu Krishnananda, among other eminent ascetics.
Former Sabarimala Melshanthi and chairman of the organizing committee, A.K. Sudhir Namboothiri, Oral History Research Foundation Director Tirur Dinesh, Madhu Menon, Rajesh Varma, Sajeesh Ponmala, Ravinath Indraprastam, Subi Krishna, Pradeep Tavanur, Suresh Thrikandiyur, Jayakumar Kottakkal, V.N. Jayakrishnan, Rama Shaji and other prominent figures were also present at the function.
