Poland and Karnataka have agreed to jointly invest in aerospace, defence and advanced manufacturing, including an ₹80 crore plant in Kolara that will create about 1,000 jobs.

At a bilateral meeting held in Bengaluru, officials from Poland and the Karnataka government announced a new industrial partnership aimed at joint investments in aerospace, defence and advanced manufacturing sectors within the state.

Under the agreement, a new industrial unit will be established in Kolara’s Vemagal area with an estimated investment of ₹80 crore.

The facility is projected to generate roughly 1,000 employment opportunities for the local workforce, boosting the region’s industrial base.

Both sides said the collaboration will deepen technological ties and enhance Karnataka’s capabilities in high‑value manufacturing sectors.
