PM Modi releases 24th Kisan Samman Nidhi tranche, Rs 1,476 crore to 73 lakh in Bihar

The 24th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme has been transferred, crediting 73 lakh families in Bihar with Rs 1,476 crore.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the release of the 24th instalment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. The tranche amounts to Rs 1,476 crore and will be credited to the bank accounts of 73 lakh farmer families in Bihar.
The disbursement is part of a nationwide transfer that has so far reached over 9.34 crore beneficiaries, with a cumulative outlay exceeding Rs 18,690 crore. The scheme, launched in 2019, provides direct income support of Rs 6,000 per year to small and marginal farmers.
State officials confirmed that the funds have been transferred to the respective accounts on the same day of the announcement, ensuring timely financial assistance ahead of the upcoming agricultural season.
