Peacock Hub has announced a partnership with JioHotstar to stream the ninth season of the talk show Koffee With Karan, marking the streaming service's first collaboration in India.
Peacock Hub, the streaming arm of NBCUniversal, confirmed a strategic partnership with Indian OTT platform JioHotstar to bring the upcoming ninth season of the popular talk show Koffee With Karan to Indian audiences. The agreement will see the entire season streamed exclusively on JioHotstar, expanding Peacock's content footprint in the country.
This collaboration is notable as it represents Peacock Hub's first-ever Indian partnership, signaling the platform's intent to tap into India's growing digital entertainment market. By leveraging JioHotstar's extensive subscriber base, Peacock aims to increase its brand visibility and attract new viewers to its broader library of international content.
Koffee With Karan, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, has been a staple of Indian celebrity culture since its debut in 2004. The ninth season is expected to feature high‑profile guests from Bollywood and beyond, continuing the show's reputation for candid conversations and viral moments. The launch date has not been disclosed, but both platforms have indicated that the season will roll out later this year.
