The Janata Dal (United) announced its candidate list for the Bihar Legislative Council elections, confirming Neeraj’s nomination despite former MLC Anant Singh’s objection.
The Janata Dal (United) released its official list of candidates for the Bihar Legislative Council elections a day after the Election Commission announced the poll schedule.
The roster confirms that Neeraj has been selected for the contested seat that earlier sparked a dispute, and the party has not altered its choice despite criticism from former MLC Anant Singh.
Party chief and former chief minister Nitish Kumar defended the decision, stating that the nomination reflects the party’s internal deliberations and electoral strategy.
With the list now public, the Election Commission will proceed with the filing of nominations, and campaigning is expected to intensify across the state.
