India Evacuates 19 Seafarers Stranded in Yemen

India’s embassy in Yemen announced that 19 seafarers who had been stranded in the country were safely evacuated. The operation was carried out in coordination with local maritime authorities and Indian officials. The evacuation followed earlier statements that 14 Indian nationals aboard a yacht involved in an incident off the Yemeni coast were safe. The seafarers are now on their way back to India and are reported to be in good health.
