The National Film Awards are set to be held in Gujarat, with calls for the ceremony to be spread across multiple venues.
The National Film Awards, traditionally held in New Delhi, are announced to shift to Gujarat for the upcoming ceremony.
The decision follows discussions among film industry stakeholders and state officials, who argue that hosting the awards in Gujarat will promote the state's growing film infrastructure.
Organizers suggest that the ceremony be split across several venues in Gujarat, rather than a single location, to accommodate the growing number of participants and to showcase different regions.
The National Film Awards, presented annually by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, will recognize excellence in Indian cinema across various categories.
