Political activist Naresh Meena has begun a hunger strike in Rajasthan, urging authorities to meet his demand for Khad.
Naresh Meena, a local activist, started a hunger strike in Rajasthan on Thursday, demanding that the state government address his request for "Khad". The protest was captured on video and broadcast by NDTV Rajasthan, highlighting the intensity of his resolve.
The activist has set up a makeshift camp at a public location, refusing food until officials respond to his demand. While the exact nature of the "Khad" request has not been detailed in the report, Meena's supporters say it pertains to a long‑standing grievance affecting the community.
Authorities have not yet issued an official statement, but the visibility of the strike has drawn attention from regional media and local residents. Observers note that such protests can pressure the government to engage in dialogue, especially when they gain traction through televised coverage.
The situation remains fluid, with Meena continuing his fast and awaiting a response from the relevant departments. Any development will be closely monitored by both the media and the public.
