Actor Nana Patekar said a television report changed his perspective, leading him to redirect savings of Rs 1.5 crore—originally meant for a car—to support farming communities, benefiting 7.7 million farmers.
Nana Patekar, known for his versatile acting, disclosed in a recent interview that he had been saving Rs 1.5 crore to purchase a new car.
He explained that a televised report on the struggles of Indian farmers prompted him to reconsider his priorities, inspiring him to use the funds for agricultural support instead.
