Hundreds of female students at MDDM College in Muzaffarpur protested on Saturday, blocking the main road after failing to receive admit cards for their fifth‑semester undergraduate exams.
Hundreds of women pursuing their fifth semester of undergraduate studies at MDDM College in Muzaffarpur gathered outside the college’s main gate on Saturday after the admit cards for the upcoming exams failed to reach them. The students formed a human chain that stretched onto the adjoining road, bringing traffic to a standstill.
The aggrieved students shouted slogans demanding the immediate issuance of the missing admit cards and an explanation from the university and college administration. They also called for a swift resolution to avoid any impact on their examination schedule.
College officials were approached by the protesting crowd and, according to on‑site reports, assured that the matter would be investigated and the admit cards would be dispatched without further delay. Local police monitored the situation to prevent escalation, while traffic was eventually cleared after a few hours.
