In Madhya Pradesh, the Patwari Union and the state government have reached an agreement to resume work on the ownership scheme, set to restart on Monday. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav presented registry certificates to ten villagers in Harda.
The ownership scheme, aimed at formalizing land titles for rural households, had stalled due to disagreements between the Patwari Union and the state administration. A recent meeting resolved the impasse, with both parties agreeing to resume the program starting Monday.
The Patwari Union, representing land record officers, had raised concerns over procedural delays and resource allocation. The government committed to providing additional support and streamlining the registration process.
During a ceremony in Harda, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav handed out registry certificates to ten villagers, symbolising the renewed focus on land ownership rights.
Officials say the restart will involve a coordinated effort to verify land records, issue certificates, and ensure beneficiaries receive their titles promptly.
