The Madhya Pradesh government announced it will fully support scholars and institutions researching Lord Krishna's life and ideas, and will develop a Krishna Tirth akin to the Ram Van Gaman Path.
In a statement released from Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav confirmed that the Madhya Pradesh government will provide comprehensive assistance to researchers and institutions focusing on the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. The initiative aims to promote scholarly work and preserve cultural heritage.
The state plans to develop a Krishna Tirth, modeled after the popular Ram Van Gaman Path, to attract pilgrims and boost tourism. Infrastructure projects will include pilgrim facilities, informational centers, and heritage trails.
Yadav emphasized that the government’s support will cover financial aid, research grants, and logistical assistance. The move is expected to strengthen the region’s cultural profile and encourage academic collaboration across the country.
