Morning and evening chill intensifies in Punjab after rain, daytime remains stable

Following recent showers, Punjab experienced a noticeable drop in temperature during mornings and evenings, while daytime temperatures stayed largely unchanged.
Recent rainfall across Punjab has led to a perceptible cooling trend during the early and late parts of the day. Meteorological observations recorded a sharper drop in temperature during mornings and evenings, creating a crisp, pink‑hued chill that residents are feeling.
Despite the chill, daytime temperatures have shown little variation from the previous days, remaining within the usual range for this time of year. Weather officials note that the rain‑induced cooling is largely confined to the lower‑sun periods.
The state’s weather department expects the current pattern to persist for the next 24‑48 hours, with no major swings anticipated unless another rain event occurs.
