The Indian Meteorological Department says the monsoon withdrawal will start on Saturday, bringing rain to the southern and northeastern parts of the country.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) announced that the seasonal retreat of the southwest monsoon will commence on Saturday. Meteorologists expect the withdrawal to be marked by scattered showers across the southern states and the northeastern region.
The forecast indicates that the rain will be intermittent, providing relief to areas that have been experiencing prolonged dry spells. However, the IMD cautioned that the intensity of the showers will vary, with some locations receiving moderate rainfall.
Authorities have advised residents in the affected zones to stay updated with local weather bulletins and to take standard precautions during the expected downpours.
